As a licensed nursing health administrator, how much information will you would you share about the financial performance of your facility to staff?

Answer #1

It would be right to say that nursing staff provides a very competitive market to hospitals. The quality of nursing care and nursing related outcomes have a high impact on the financial performance of the hospital as it increases the brand value of the hospital in the market. The secondary factor (good medication being primary) which attracts the patient to a particular hospital is the care he/she receives after the during the period of stay in hospital.

Therefore it becomes very important to share the information about how hospital market works to the nursing staff so that they should work in a well planned and well organised manner to make the patient happy.
