Critical thinking is purposeful , continuous, active, and cognitive process which is necessary when taking important decisions regarding health of patients.

Their is an important link between critical thinking and nursing interventions is that when nurses are planning and taking decisions about health care of patients than critical thinking is applied by them to increase the effictiveness of nursing interventions. By critical thinking they understand reason behind the interventions, it improves skill of nurses , help in solving difficulty and complications by taking correct decision about health.
