A. Adaptive interventions : The aim of nursing is to increase compliance and life expectancy, evaluates the patient in physiologic mode, self concept needs, role function needs and interdependence need. Situational ,individual beliefs.

Effective interventions :confirming messages, personal control, staff honesty, setting limits, use of structure, facilitating expression, monitoring, timing and nonverbal skills.

Ineffective interventions :allow patients participation in planning treatment programme, explain the treatment properly suggest long acting medications, Avoid unnecessary clinic visits.
