Answer #1

Answer;

Creatinine is the end product or waste product of the muscle and protein metabolism in the body. The normal value of the creatinine in the bloodstream is about 0.8 to 1.2 mg/dl. Normally, the kidney removes the waste product creatinine from the body and passes out in the urine. When there is damage in the kidney leads to an increase in the level of the creatinine in the bloodstream because of a lack of removal by the kidney through the urine. An increase or decrease in the creatinine level indicates the glomerular filtration rate. Increase in creatinine level decrease the function or damage of kidney and at last lead to kidney failure.

Stage 1- GFR is >90% ( Normal kidney function)

Stage 2- GFR is 60-90%( Mild kidney function)

Stage 3- GFR is 30-59% ( Moderate Kidney function)

Stage 4- GFR is 15-29% (Severe Kidney function)

Stage 5- GFR is < 15% (renal failure)
