Considerations of reward system includes;
(1). All the employees should be given a chance to participate recognition program. So the employee know what they should do to get reward.
(2). There should be a clear set of criteria for reward system. Criteria should be applicable to employees.
(3). Every employees Should be rewarded who meet the set criteria. A meaningful criteria can make more winners.
(4). Both behaviour and outcomes should be recognised. In most of the institution, reward is given according to the outcomes. But it reduces the chance to make use of reward system as a way to encourage poor performers to improve their work.
(5). Reward should be individualized. Reward should be given according to individuals need.
(6). Try to recognise employee's work always atleast with a "thank you". It will improve relationship.

(8). The whole team should also be rewarded to encourage cooperation between the team members.
