The mentoring is sharing knowledge skills and life experience to guide another towards reaching their full potential.mentoring is the vital process of nurisng it is a means for expierinced nurses to orient and to facilitate acclimation of novice nurses to their new role.

The benefits of mentoring are,

• being helped to identify and correct gaps in generic skills and knowledge
• being helped to identify and achieve career goals
• developing and maintaining a broader perspective on career,
• being encouraged and empowered in personal development

Memtors role is to gide , to support, to give advice the mentee, a mentor can help a mentee improve his skills and abilitites through observation,modeling,assessment by providing guidance.
