I hope you will rate my answer positively ----
The patient undergoing hemodialysis for chronic kidney disease , arteriovenous fistula is done so that it gives proper access and also helps to pass maximum blood during hemodialysis procedure.
complications that arise with access site are infections (septicemia) due to use of needle many times , post treatment blood clots (thrombosis) due to stenosis of blood vessels either during outward or inward flow of blood, Hypertension due to regularly use of catheters in subclavian region for access.
During hemodialysis , hepatitis and muscle cramping is also commonly occur. Hepatitis occur when instrument get contaminated and muscle cramps due to change in amount of electrolyte and fluid which create imbalance in body.
Thank-you.
