Answer - Option D is correct answer. After bowel surgery, if assessment show audible bowel sound it is good indication for intestine activity. It means your intestine work properly and indicate good recovery of intestinal functions.

Abdominal pain with cramp show an abnormalities. Passage of stool and hunger is also a good sign for abdominal organs recovery but best assessment and recovery when you hear bowel sound, if bowel sound appear, it show good recovery. Absent bowel sound indicate ileus.
