Diabetes mellitus is one of the most prevalent disease in the world. This is nothing but elevated levels of blood sugar levels than normal range.

It affects the body in the following way

• Leading to increased thirst
• The patient often wants to eat more because of impaired digestive process
• The renal system is altered causing increased urination

The death rate because of this condition approximately 4.1/1000 patient annually

There is no complete cure for this disease. It can be managed land kept under control life long .

Adults after the age of 45 years are affected more with this disease due to varied life style. Later one in four elderly population is found to have this disease after 65 years.Childrens are also affected but at a very lowest rate.
