Asthma is a a condition where the airway narrowing occur as well as occlusion with extra mucus that results in wheezing,dyspnea ,shortness of breath, sweating etc .

Patients skin become calmly mainly due to

  • The main reason behind clammy skin is the stress and anxiety that we go through in an asthma attack .Many chemical mediators are released by the body that causes clammy skin .the panic attack and stress level determine the occurrence of clammy skin
  • The need for excess energy will lead to increase in metabolic rate of body which inturn results in increased body temperature. So our body reduces this body temperature .
