3.Digestive process takes place with the help of digestive system and accessary organs.It includes ,breaking up of food particles into small and very small pieces and helps for the absorption by the body.Digestive system has main three function.Digestion of dood,absorption of nutrients,Elimination of food waste .

It has three main stages.

  • Cephalic phase - First phase is cephalic phase,it starts with the secretion of gastric juice in response to sight and smell of food.In this stage mechanical breakdown of food particles by chewing ,chemical breakdown by digestive juice and it happend in mouth.In saliva digestive enzyme amylase and lingual lipase present.It is produced by salivary gland and serous gland.By chewing food combines with saliva and mechanical digestion takes place.This forms a bokus and it goes to oesophagus and stomach.
  • Gastric phase - It takes place in the stomach with the help of gastric juice it will further breakdown and goes to duodenum.
  • Intestinal phase- Third phase is intetinal phase of digestion.Here it mixed with enzymes prodiced by pancreas.

4.The goal of nurse as a DNP is to combine nursing with other sciences such as biophysical ,psychosocial,organizational ,an analytical sciences.Hence DNP nurse become efficient in using science based theories in undersyandong the nature of health and healthcare delivery.Also helps to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
