Answer: The Kurt Lewins change theory can be implemented for a
quality change project as it contains three stages as follows:
- Unfreezing: In this process of transition stage, which improves
the readiness of people to accept the change. It prepares the
participants to overcome the fear and accepting the changes for the
betterment. So, in this stage, effective communication can be
beneficial to encourage the participants/ staffs to prepare
themselves for accepting the change.
- Change: In this stage, the change occured and people readily
accepted the change. This stage requires careful planning as well
as encouragement. This is because the new change requires
stability.
- Freeze: At this stage, the change is being accepted and become
more used to it as well as stable. Here employees or the staff
should be appreciated by cooperating with the transitional
phase.
