Pregnent women are more sensitive in rtoad traffic accident .pregnent women who are involved in a car accident may face more serious damage and expenses than other injured people .it includes ,

1) MISCARRIAGE

The baby is protected by amniotic fluid, if the stomach or uterous is punctured due to accident or the baby cant survive without amniotic fluid,because serious injury of uterus cause lekkage of amniotic fluids .

2) BIRTH DEFECTS

Direct injury of featus or the baby being born prematurely as the result of a accident can cause birth defects .

3) PREMATURE BIRTH

Preterm birth is the birth of an infant prior to 37 weeks of pregnency .a accident can cause premature birth because of the stress put on the mothers body during and after the accident .

4) COUP AND CONTRECOUP INJURIES

When a moving objects impacts the head while stationary ,a coup injury can occur ,while contrecoup injuries are produced when the moving objects strikes the stationary objects .and it caused the baby by shaken body syndrome .

5) FEATAL TRAUMA

Featal trauma can result during the accident from a blow to mothers abdomen ,a lack of oxygen if the mother in distress ,and other infections and injuries .

- Always wear seatbelt.the seatbelts protect our baby and mother by in case of accidents .make sure the seatbelts are in currect possition .

- Make sure our airbags are working .if we wearing the seatbelts properly when an accident occur air bag will protect us .
