This act is to improve the quality and safety of health care. Other provisions of the affordable care Act help people get health insurance who couldn't before. They also help make coverage more affordable.

The affordable care act has been highly controversial, despite the positive outcomes.Conservatives objected to the tax increases and higher insurance premiums needed to pay for Obamacare. Some people in the health care industry are critical of the additional workload and costs placed on the medical providers. The two categories of individuals will benefit the most from the exchanges: those who don't have health insurance right now and those who buy insurance on the individual market.
