Mostly age above 65 years, infants and children are not allowed unless the research studies are specific for them, because elderly people have multiple health problems and they will be on medications, and young children and old people have weak immunity
Persons with comorbidities:
People with multiple conditions are not encouraged because the chance of drug interactions with the health conditions and produce wrong results
The people with multiple health conditions will be on other medications too, so those medicines can influence the data and leads to discrepancy in results
Dysfunction of organs:
The person with organ dysfunction may not experience effects or adverse effects of trials which will again shows false results
Apart from that, patients safety will be the first concern, to avoid harm to the patient the clinical trial will not be conducted on them
High BMI:
For some studies high BMI can misinterpret the results
pregnancy and breast feeding:
The clinical trial may affect the baby if the woman is pregnant or lactating, and the intended results are also may not shown due to the increased hormone levels
Living too far from the trial site
The person living too far from the trial site may miss or late for the trials
Race, ethnicity, sex and geographic location are also other factors
