The nursing education has changed a lot in past 100 years, these changes are influenced the nursing profession a lot inorder to deliver a quality care for the patients

  • In the olden days a plenty os nurses are recieved only rudimentary traning which means they were known to only the basics of nursing
  • And also much of them learned from their mothers that how to ake care of the ill person.
  • The education nurses recieve today is much more formal and comprehensive and it made the nurses to become highly respected and a specialized member of healthcare teams.
  • Today the nurses has many entrance examinations which proves the knowledge and capability of each nurses.
  • nurses are given more patients responsibiities especially those with advanced degrees.
  • Nursing profession has grown in stature and now attracts a number of male candidates as well.
