Western society seems to have moved from a more Restrictive sexual ideology to a more Permissive sexual ideology. Explain in  250 words.

Restrictive sexual ideology suggests that sexual behaviour of human should be subjected to strict legal, social and moral control.Sometimes Restrictive sexual ideology does not give opportunity to the individual about choosing there sexual activity independently, they can not perform sexual activity without marriage. They have to follow social norms. Sometimes individual can not get pleasure, but can't choose other partner because it is socially unacceptable.

Western society seems to have moved to more permissible sexual ideology because, Western society allows the individual to choose their life partner independently. They can perform sexual activity without marriage and if both partners are agreed. It gives pleasure, emotional, physical intimacy, recreation, enjoyment. It accepts both homosexuality and heterosexuality. Multiple sexual partners are also acceptable. It gives priority of individual preference.
