The nurse advoacte can play a pivotal role in this pandemic regarding the safety of the residents in the long term care facilities.The main thing she can plan and implement is minimizing or restricting the visiters.Also she can make it mandatory for the health care worker to come for duty and be there at health care facility itself for aperiod of time and avoid going out.To make sure this strategy is done she can demand the managemnt to recruit more nad more nurses.She has to put forward the plan to do the investigation for the patient and the workers on a periodic status to check anybody is infected,and if anyone is infected the healthcare facility has to take the complete expense of the treatment of the particular person to support them financially.
