The screening results were negetive or normal , since the antibodies can take a couple of weeks to develop in response to a bacterial infections,The main test used to confirm a syphilis is Enzyme immunoassy test the blood test check syphilis antibodies.the two types of serological test must be used for diagnose and determine the stage of syphilis that are treponemal test and non treponemal test.The plasma reaggin in additon to screening this test is useful in monitoring treatment for syphilis,it is used to confirm the presence of a active infection when an initial test for trepnemal antibodies are positive.
