Knowledge is the basic rights of everyone irrespective of any situations. An informal caregiver should have adequate health literacy to provide safe care to a patient .If the patient is cognitively sound then they will be able to express their needs and helped out. This is not possible in memory loss client who does not know what they need and are at greater risk for injuring self and others.It is highly expected thing that the caregiver should be having knowledge regarding the health to provide safe and effective care .
