That is , 20mg in 2mL+ 3mL

=20mg in 5mL

= 20mg/5mL

Question is how many mL is going to be administred in each minute.

Step 1 :-

Desired dose (D) = 4mg

Available dose(A)=20mg

Quantity of medicine(Q) = 5mL

Calculation formula is ;

(D÷A )x Q = X ( it is the quantity of medication to be administered )

(4÷20 ) x 5 = 1 mL

ie, 1mL

1mL of medicine contains 4mg of medication

Answer is 4mg/mL of medication need to administer in one minute.

Another method:-

20mg in 5mL

Find out 4mg in 'X' mL

We have to find out X value

For that

20÷ 5 = 4÷X

Use cross multiplication method

20 x X =4x5

20X = 20

X = 20÷20

X = 1

X= 1mL

4mg/Mt = 1mL

Answer is 4mg/mL
