Physically or psychologically abused victims may be very anxious or depressed and may show social dysfunction.

Any injuries, buises, lacerations from any weapon. Give appropriate care.

Nursing interventions include:

(1).Assess for any physical injuries & give appropriate care, and emergency care if critical.

(2).Provide psychological support through counseling. (Both victim and abuser).

(3).Refer to local shelters or law enforcement officials or self help group(bith victim and abuser)
