An example of an organization chart can be found in Chapter 16 of your textbook, Organization Behavior in Health Care. Use the organizational chart you have created to discuss the following in a paper of 750-1,000 words: Describe the relationship of the leaders, departments, and personnel within the organizational chart. Explain what communication principles are needed to support workforce management and how they would be implemented. Identify the different organizational structures and related issues within the contemporary health care system. Explain leadership theories for improving organizational, team, and individual performance.

Health care organizations ate the companies that provide offering to clinical authorities like ,nurses,doctors, pharmacist etc. Their fundamental purpose to provide well being services at lower price and in better amount so that these may also made on hand to a tremendous number of members.

Organizational charts are used to convey , at a glance the ,line of decision making authority from the top management of an organization down through its divisional managers and departnental managers .Most hospitals have a divisional split , with the functions of administration separated from the medical service functions. In a hospital and other types of health care organizations, decisions about things like marketing flow upwards in the medical hierarchy, while decisions about things like marketing flow up wards through the administrative hierarchy.

In the medical services side of a healthcare organization, the hierarchy services to protect the patient by assigning increasing decision making authority on the basis of training.

A registerd nurse must monitor vital sign and signals when a patient needs to additional care .advanced practices nurses who have taken additional training beyond that of an RN, are allowed to diagnose and prescribe under ordinary circumstances.

Board of directors

Hospitals are corporations and therefore overseen by boards that often consists of Influental members of health Care and local communities. Many hospital were founded by a religious group and maintain religious affiliation. Educationally affiliated hospitals are often overseen by universities. Therefore university Boards of trustee or regent may double as the board of directors for a hospital.

Executives oversee day to day operations.

Board of directors leave it to their executives to see that their decisions are carried out and that they day to day operations of the hospital are performed successfuly .the cheif exicecutive officer is the top boss responsible for everything that goes on in a hospital. However , hospitals usually have chief nursing officers, chief medical officers , chief information officers, chief financial officers, and sometimes chief operating officers , who also carry a lot off weight . this group of top executives forms the central core management.

Hospital department administrators

The top Managers of each hospital department report to the core management .these people are responsible for one type of medical or Operational service. Most department are areas of the patient care such as orthopedic , lab our and delivery or the emergency department. There also are non patient care department such as food services and billing.

Patient care managers

Within a department , there are the people who directly oversee patient care . nurse managers directors of rehabilitation services. and supervising physicion have people under them who give hands on patient care. This level of management ensure that the staff members are acting appropriately, giving , complying with hospital and legal requirements and for nurses and allied health Care workers, following physician orders.

Patient service providers

Most of a hospital is composed of service providing staff . from nurses and physical therapist to line cooks and laundry workers it takes a lot of hands on staff to make everything happen. These peoples have very specific job description and duties, which hospitals need them to perform very well to ensure the safety and health of patient..

Leadership has been described as the behavior of an individual when directing the activities of a group toward a shared goal. Published researches provide little evidence that such leadership initiatives are associated with improvement in patient care organizaional outcomes when applied in the healthcare system.

Health care service planning aims to improve health services delivery and or system performance to better meet the health need of a population... It comprises the process of aligning the delivery of existing health services to meet the changing patterns of needs and use of services.
