Gender Identity :- it is defined as personal
conception of oneself as a member of either sex I.e. male or
female. Example:- A person is born as a female and she considers
herself on feminine terms, the pin her gender identity is female
but a person born as female considers herself as a male her gender
identity is male.
Gender Socialisation:- it is defined as the process by which an individual is taught about the norms and behaviours as per the sex the individual is born with. Example:- During childhood girls are given dolls to define their role as mother whereas boys are oftenly given action figures or basketball.
Gender inequality:- it is defined as unequal
perception of an individual based on their genders I.e. male and
female are not considered as equal. Example:- in many places around
the world, women are considered to do household chores and handle
the kids whereas men are considered to earn an income for the
house.
Heterosexism :- it is defined as discrimination
against the homosexuals or bisexuals. It is based on the belief
that the heterosexuality is the only norm. Example:- Homosexuality
is usually considered as an mental illness in many parts of the
world an is still illegal.
Sexual orientation:- It is defined as an individual's pattern of seeking emotional, romantic or sexual attraction to the individual of same sex or opposite sex or both. Example:- if a boy is attracted romantically or sexually to a boy, it means he is sexually oriented to a male gender.
Region:- it is an part of an country or world
which have similar definable characteristics but the boundaries are
may or my not be fixed.Region may have similar geographical ,
cultural, social similarities.
example:- if an area is having large number of individual of
