health maintenance organization was opposed by the citizen of u.s and the reason of opposing the health maintenance organization is that the premium you paid is just enough to cover over all cost of doctor in the network and the member are stucks ony in the primary care physician(PCP).and somehow if they changed thier managed care plan then the member not allow to continue with the same primary care physician.

role of government to promote managed care plan
1-to provide a healthcare in terms of cost and quality
2-to provide care and facilities to their members at a reduced cost .
