The clinical decision support system is one of the recent advancement in healthcare sector. This concentrates on the quality of a service rather than quantity healthcare services .The reimbursement is purely based on the effectiveness of the procedure done to a patient. If the end results of the service is very accurate and appropriate to a patient needs then the reimbursement is high compared to no effective and inappropriate service .

This is not applicable if the value over volume is chosen because it does not focus on quality.If there is no quality the number of patients may decrease in a steady rate over a period of time. This will lead to financial loss .Hence CDS cannot be adopted here if the hospital focuses on volume of patients .
