In Hispanic culture expressing pain specially in men is considered a weakness. Also taking pain medication is not acceptable in such culture. Sometimes patient with terminal illness often find lufe as meaningless and avoid any kind of palliative care. A culture greatly influences a patient's attitude towards illness and pain. A culture which is supportive and constitutes of well educated population help enhance delivery of healthcare.
