The meaningful use has led to improved collaboration among the different providers in   on the healthcare community due to sharing of healthcare information of the patient maintained in EHR. However the negative aspect is the probable breach of privacy and confidentiality of the personal healthcare information of the patient, i.e. violation of the laws of HIPAA leading to lawsuits. From the patient side the positive impact is improved and remote access to healthcare being possible. The negative aspect being a high chance of compromise of the personal healthcare information
