The Socio-ecological approach describes that the health promotion should focus on both the factors i.e., intrapersonal behavioural factors and multi-level factors which influence the specific behaviour.

This approach includes five levels namely—Individual, Intrapersonal, Organizational, Community, Public Policy.

This approach is applicable in person - environment interaction, to improve people - environment interactions, to nurture human growth and development in specific environments, etc

Evidence-Based practice (EBP) is the alliance of best research evidence with clinical expertise and patient values.

EBP process includes the following steps, Asking clinical questions —>Collecting Relevant Evidence —>Critical Appraisal Evidence—> Integrate the Evidence—>Evaluate Outcomes—> Desseminate outcomes.

EBP is applied in Medicine, Mental Health, Metascience, Education etc.
