Fashion design:- Fashion desgn is the art through which we can applying the design & beauty to clothing & in its accessories.

It is art of inventing and adding beauty into the clothing by using the different accessories.

Inventor of fashion designing:- Charles Frederick Worth invented the fashion design.

Daily task & skills required to be successful as a Fashion Designer:-

1. A fashion designer should be creative, innovative & fair about their designs.

2. They have the capabilities to make eye for colours and able to feel fabric materials for better designing.

3. A fashion designer has the ability to make new ideas and concepts foe designing & use your initiative for designing.

4. For a successful fashion designer person have to better skills in visualization.

5. Fashion designer should have technical knowledge about the pattern of cutting and sewing the clothes.

6. For successful fashion designer the person have to be proactive in their area.

7. They have to be oriented towards their business.

Advantages of fashion designing:-

Disadvantages of fashion designing:-

1. In this career there is no fixed working hours.

2. When the person works in the fashion career stress is the most important factor & do the negative impact on the individual.

3. In this career there is unpredictable or not fixed salary.

4. In the fashion designing there is a demand for new and more effective products & design so there is always a chance of competition in order to sell more products.

Fashion cycle:- Fashion cycle is the way in which the changes in the fashion is usually described by using fashion cycle. The five stages of fashion cycle are:-

2. Stage of Increase in Popularity

3. Stage of Peak of Popularity

4. Stage of Decline in Popularity

5. Stage of Rejection of a Style

Fashion designing process is does effect on the designing process. When the individual is in the first stage of introduction the designer put their potential to introduce the design for their acceptance & increase in popularity. When the designer is on peak of popularity he/she motivated to work more hard to make a good design & there is also increased in demand so the designer start to make copies of the item to fulfil that demand. Some customer or conscious customer want something new, decline to purchase, this happen in the fourth stage. Due to out for fashion there is less selling of the item & start to reject. So in this way the fashion cycle affect the process.
