Patient X is a 34y/o African American women who has just been diagnosed as "Pre- Diabetic".

She is slightly "over weight" and could lose about 15 lbs. She has been smoking since high school. She started smoking at age 16.

She wants to change her life style, eat better, lose weight and above all, stop smoking.

Use the "PPAARE" format to formulate a focused research question to help locate relevant information that you can share with the Physician
