The COVID-19 pandemic has brought forth a number of issues related to employer and employee relationships and expectations. Examples include staffing, return to work, PPE, and furloughs/layoffs, to name a few. This week discuss, based on your experience, either first or second hand, if you or another R.N. you know has experienced what could be perceived as a strained relationship with the employer. In your discussion, include what factors contributed to this strain, what remedies have or could have been taken to rectify the situation, and what might be the long term ramifications.

The Covid 19 pandemic has whiplashed all job sectors , including health care firms. Specially mention is the salary cutoff's, work inrisky environments, inadequate protection gear etc.

The need of the hour is enevitable , but the job can put on a flexible shedule instead of firing off employees without a second thought.

Employees can put to work on shift basis, with lesser working hours / on alternate days with apt pay scale accordingly.

They should be medically insured.

Proper gear , including PPE's must be provided for a stress free & productive working environment.

Deduction in salary can be done on a long term basis cuts, instead of a sudden immediate salary cut off.
