Recommended dose : IV ; Adults oesophageal candidiasis 100mg on day 1 and then 50 mg daily
For cadidemia and other candidal infection 200mg on day 1 and then 100mg daily.
Route of administration: intavenous
Side effects : dyspnoea, urticaria, flushing, rash
Possible adverse effects : decreased BP and potassium concentration, increase LFTs
Special consideration : administer at rate lower or equal to 1.2mg/ min to reduce infusion reaction. Monitor parameters like BP, temperature, HR, K+
