Giovanna has noticed some blood in her stools for the past 3 months. She feels it is unimportant, likely due to hemorrhoids. One night, she notices a substantial amount of blood in the toilet. She calls the office for an appointment; however, she is reluctant to come in that week.

Tests reveal that Giovanna has a tumour of the ascending colon. She is hospitalized for a bowel resection. She is terrified of both the hospital and the impending surgery. She arrives on the floor tearful and frightened. As the ward clerk, you are asked to take Giovanna to her room.

Social determinants are determines to those conditions of man where they born, live, their age, work conditions by the money, resources, local and national needs, all these conditions influence the health cndition of a person. The following are the determinants of health. They are as follows:

In this condtion Giovanna's health got impacted because of seperation from her husband, seperation with her children, that is poor family support is there as no one is there to take care of her. Also the place where she is living at present is new for her and has no friends indicating poor social and neighbourhood support to her, these situations raise to undergo stress in Giovanna and her health got impacted with diseases. She also have the habit of smoking cigarettes pack daily which is addiction to substances, she neglected and it converted into ascending colon tumor. Also the history of Giovanna shows poor dietary habits, poor maintainance of body health which has impacted on the health of person.
