description: the quaker nursing hill fire happened on 18 november in 2011.the fire was set by  rogen dean, deliberately. Evacuation was done by fire fighters. there were 4 staff from nursing home, helped fire fighters to save lives of residents. 88, sick, aged, weak were saved. 21 people were died during and after the fire.

feelings:this is the tragic incident happended and lost 21 residents. if nurse wasnot  lighted fire, 21 resident would have lived longer. it really emotioal one. but  the fire fighters and staff had tried best to save lives by overcoming all challenges that they faced

Evaluation: fire and safty fire fighters worked efficiently in order to save life of residents. even four staff of nursing helped them to evacuate many patients. 88 sick, old age and weak were saved. nearly 100 fire fighters were involved and 20 appliances were used to save the life patients. however, 21 peoople were died during and after fire accident. because the door of the major fire occupied was opened and spread to everywhere and cause dense smoke. there was absence of triple 000 to confirm the fire.there were limited source to evacuate and also the casulties initially never received care the alarm and building warning were the hinders factor for communications.

analysis: if the staff was trained regarding fire safty, this incident would become lessor. they should know about triple to call for emergency. if there are available fire safty measure, we could save save life. initially, victim initially didnot receive care. this also add to the problem. it is necessary to follow the procedure of firesafty by all staffs

Conclusion:any fire accidents happened in future, same situation  will arise. i felt that if nurse was not lighted, residents would have lived longer. however,  it will be difficult for fire fighters, staff, residents. any way, many become awared about fire evacuation. on reflection, this could be a lesson for all. every staff should be trained yearly regarding fire safty nad proper communication. staff  should know about how to call and where fire exit door and how to off the fire

Actionplan: :if the fire occurs in the future, alarm should be initiated, after activation of alarm. inform the fire and safty officce. find out location of fire and  the door of the fire should be closed and inform mobile residents to safers location by verbalgestures in case of inappropriate verbal communication due to alarm. shift nonambulatory patients to safers location by carrying them. all doors and exit doors are remain open to evacuate all people. the emergency plan should be carried out for immobilation residents. passanger way should be kept clear and minimise mass group obstructing pathway.
