First let us know about CAD - Coronary Artery Disease.

Coronary artery disease is also known as coronary heart disease (CHD)orsometimesas ischemic heart disease (IHD).

It is the most common of the cardiovascular diseases.

TAhey are of two Types stable angina and unstable angina.

Symptom - chest pain or discomfort which may travel into the shoulder, arm, back, neck, or jaw. Shortness of breath may also occur and sometimes no symptoms are present.

Risk factors are high blood pressure, smoking, diabetes, sedentary life style, obesity, high blood cholesterol, poor diet and depression, and excessive alcohol.
