HYPERLIPIDEMIA
Hyperlipidemia or high cholestrol level is a condition in which there is an increased level of cholestrol or fat circulating in the blood. There are different types of hyperlipidimia, all of which are risk factors for developing heart disease. The main predisposing factor of hyperlipidemia in children is genetics.Increased cholestrol level will leads to the accumulation of fat in the coronary artery, and the cononary artery wil be narrowed(atherosclerosis) which leades to the decreased blood flow through the this artery can cause decreased blood flow. This problem may begin in early childhood and over time may result in coronary artery disease, heart attack or stroke.
