Response yo drugs are affected by various factors such as age ,gender and individual genetics.In addition to that it is also determined by medications administered along with the drugs,the food taken and also assosiated with individual disease condition.

Age is an important factor, by increasing age the capacity of drug absorption is declines.The gastric pH is reduced and it also reduces the absorption. The blood flow in the intestine is reduced and absorption is also delayed in oldage.
