Informal social connections are relationship maintained by family members, friends, relatives. Because of low population density in rural areas , people will have high levels of familiarity. Sexual violence causes psychological, emotional and social effects among victims. Emotional effect might  be in the form of :

1. Traumatic life event which leads to self withdrawal, feeling shame and guilty.

2. Restrict their freedom in the community .

3. Social stigma and downearthing of family prestige

4. post traumatic stress lead a person into depression, fear and anxiety.
