One current example of a controversial public health measure involves requirements for wearing masks in public to minimize the spread of COVID-19. Part of the controversy has been attributed to politics, as well as the public’s trust in health agencies. • Mary mallon also called as typhoid mary spread typhoid to large number of people without even knowing. She sent for quarantine for 2 years , but she secretly sent her stool sample for typhoid test , which came negative. She filed habeus corpus against dept. Of health.
• People shows relectance to obey instructions of health department because they feel like they are being controlled by authorities, without even realizing that the rules are for our own good.
• People consider the instructions of health department as control over their freedom to live., similar to what happened to mary and in case of COVID 19 Issues.
