Answer #1

When a patient faint we have to shift the person onto the bed first. We have to put him in sleeping position so patient can take breath easily and secondly we have to put his legs higher than his heart so that blood supply will be done properly. By following these steps patient can come back to conscious stage. If he does not, put a glucose bottle. After waking give some fluids so that his energy levels will be increased and also loose his belts, collor and shirt to avoid going to unconscious stage again. I will suggest sitting and eating or drinking something and also prescribe him to take long breath till he feels better if he feels faint again. After completing all this steps and when patient feels better, then the venipuncture should be done.
