Japan & the United States Healthcare systems in terms of: the Japanese healthcare system is funded primarily by taxes and contributions made by individuals, while the healthcare of the USA is financed by programs of the government such as Medicare and Medicaid, plans of private insurance companies through employers, and out-of-pocket i.e. the person's own funds. Since the insurance in USA is not universal equity is not established in terms of access to healthcare, while in Japan since there is universal health coverage equity in established. Since equity is not established the quality of health care in the USA is poor in comparison the quality of health care in Japan is better than USA. Further in terms of other parameters of quality such as rate of medical error, Japan has better scores than USA.
