In order to remain healthy and to maintain a normal BMI, macronutrients are required in moderate levels.

Macronutrients include water, proteins, carbohydrates and fat. Fat is considered as harm but the reality is that our body require certain amount of fats for:

  • A source of energy
  • A source of essential fatty acids that our body cannot make.
  • A way to absorb fat soluble vitamins like A, D, E and K.
  • A way to insulate our bodies and protect our organs.etc to maintain day to day functions.
