A cubic Aluminum container (RD = 2.7) has a side length of 1 m and thickness of 1 cm and is floating inside a water tank. The container is empty and open from the top (i.e.: has only 4 sides and one base). Assuming the density of water is 1000 kg/m3, determine:

A. Height of the container floating above water. (1 mark) B. Volume of water we can pour into the container before it sinks. I

B. f the empty container is withdrawn from the water tank and placed into a gasoline tank (RD = 0.7), determine:

C. Height of container submerged in gasoline. (1 mark)

D. Buoyancy force and tension in a wire attached to the base of the container and used to fully submerge the container into the Gasoline.
