If the size of product is too large then machining such product will take more time than other processes. Also, complexity of the product can only determine that it can be manufactired through machining or not. If the product is too much complex and having very small details then conventional machining cannot be used. It requires unconventional machining like, laser beam cutting, electron beam evaopration, plasma cutting, etc.
