Were learning how to calculate "Mean Arterial Pressure". the equation is: MAP=diastolic blood pressure + 1/3( pulse pressure) or just MAP=DBP+ 1/3(PP) If the MAP is 93 and the systolic BP is120. How would I calculate diastolic blood pressure and pulse pressure? please show all steps im really confused. Thank you for your help.

Water flow horizontally for 4 m through a 65mm diameter cast iron pipe at an average velocity of 2 ms-1before an 90 degree elbow changes the direction of the flow downwards for a further 9 m. A ball valve is fitted at the end of the 9 m length of pipe. Determine the pressure at the pipe inlet if the ball valve is fully opend.(density of water = 998 kgm-3 , u=8.9*10^-4 Pas) I just calculated the friction losses before...

How do I do this in R Studio   1. You are testing a hypothesis Ho: μ = 10 against Ha: μ < 10 based on a SRS of 20 observations from a Normal population. The data give sample mean of 8 and a sample standard deviation of 4. Find the value of t. (use correct formula, plug numerical values into formula, crunch numbers using R, report value of t) 2. What is the area to the left of the t...

Fluid is flowing through the pipe with radius of 2 m at the rate of 8 m/s. if fluid’s kinematic viscosity is 1.004 x 10-6 m/s2, and pipe’s roughness is 0.015 x 10-3 m. Set up Colebrook equation for friction factor. Solve the equation either by using solver or by plugging in a value from Moody’s chart and iterating, if necessary. Determine pressure drop, if fluid’s dynamic viscosity is 1.0035 x 10-3
