A right circular cylinder of diameter 40mm and axis 60mm long resting on one of its circular faces on HP is cut by a section plane which is normal to VP and inclined to HP passing through the diagonally opposite ends of the top and bottom faces of cylinder. Draw the development of the lateral surface of lower part of cylinder. Determine the inclination of section plane with HP.

Firstly draw the top view a circle of dia 40mm
then draw the front view a rectange of height 60 and length 40 mm
then divide the circle into suitable division (if number of division increases the accuracy of curve obtained will increase) here i divide the circle into 8 equal parts that means each region has 45° then extend this division in the top view to front view .
Next is mark the section
then draw the development of cylinder , its like a rectangle of length
(2×π×20) and height 60. divide the development into 8 equal parts.
then mark the point where the section cuts. and then draw ....
