Recommend a source of energy (i.e. Qdot in) for the electric generation appropriate for the region and propose a power plant configuration operating on the superheated Rankine cycle to meet the anticipated power need. Include a thermodynamic analysis of the cycle and estimate the power output from the cycle and the annual revenue generated from the sale of electricity. Summarize your design, and discuss the assumptions you make. Estimate isentropic efficencies for the turbine(s) and pump in your design, and investigate at least two additions to the cycle that may improve performance (e.g., reheat, regeneration, etc).
