Here the purpose is Spatula Grip and on seeing the properties we can clearly say that

1.silicon has lesser density than the oak that is less weight- Easy to handle.

2. The elastic modulus is low for Oak, This makes the oak as a brittle object and If the object fells down there may be a chance of breakage.

3. As the requirement is Spatula Grip, Thermal conductivity of the material should be low. In this property, Both materials have similar value.

By taking into consideration all the above points we can conclude that silicon rubber is perfect material for the Spatula Grip.
