Supposed an air with density ρ and viscosity μ, is approaching a flat plate at uniform and

steady velocity u0. A thin boundary layer with thickness δ is developed when the air fl ows

over the flat plate as shown in FigQ4. It was determined that the boundary layer thickness is

a function of downstream distance x on the plate, approaching velocity, and fluid properties.

Use Buckingham Pi theorem to generate a dimensionless relationship for δ as a function of

the other parameters.
